Okay, so this is the page where I'm going to talk about myself.
My name is K.C. Ryan, and I am a person. I have posted this very nice photo of myself to prove it.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and can wax on Sondheim and Shakespeare all day, but I'm also an avid lover of all things internet. After years of art classes and no proper outlets for my humor, I decided to put my cartooning skills to work for this online journal.
I called this blog "Nerdery and Lifery" because while I can talk Doctor Who and the importance of academics for hours, there are things outside of my nerdery that I identify with. I'm one of those people who takes way too many pictures of their dog. I have a Husband who is adorable and can turn a discussion about philosophy into a fart joke... and I will laugh at it. I am terrible at DIY and crafting, but I do it anyway because the pictures on Pinterest look pretty. There is so much more to people than just one label. And while I'm proud to call myself a "nerd" and "geek," I am out to prove to prove to people that there is so much more to life than just whether or not I can write a long post about the Batman vs. Superman debate. By the way, neither one... because Thor would kick their f*cking asses. (I also like cursing. And Marvel, apparently.)
In addition to this blog, I am a contributor to the Anomaly Podcast blog and I co-host Anomaly Supplemental with Sue Kisenwether. I also continue the pursuit of a career in entertainment because I am a performing monkey and proud of it! Read and enjoy, people!
